Sounds great, but you just know in your heart the winner will be linked to the person who actually owns it and they'll collect hundreds of thousand from chancers too stupid or desperate to see the reality.

2 quid isn't a lot, but that's how the scam works.

Instead, buy yourself a corned beef pasty from greggs and a diet coke, and enjoy it with a nice view in the summer sun.

way too many bedrooms for 1 bathroom

you would have to make the bedroom bigger, and have an on suite bathroom, and loose a bedroom for everyone else to share at the top of the stairs, so plumbing does'nt cost too much, which is probably the best bedroom to loose anyway

yea, it looks "shit" because now any lame Romanian would build up everywhere a garage, walls are all plate surfaces without any baso or additional work + thermo windows one piece with white margins and call that "a house" while letting on the shoulders of Gypsies the burden or pride to carry the torch, building in classical European architectonic ways -with the faults as such for they are Gypsies*

*there is a Gypsy such house 100 m from my home build in the classical XVIII century austro-hungarian style, big house a few square meters, and having the upper part of the columns (ionic columns) inversed upside down lol -dunno if Gypsies did that on purpose or was it the architect who did that to make fun of their cultural lackings

Looks like sh1t. Usually the amount of work required to build the architecture would reflect the quality of the work. Anyone could build that sh1t while building a Victorian building is a whole different standard. Yours is just anti-cultural garbage.

victorian mansions are just boxes, and rubbish inside, most are full of wood worm and mould, and 70 year old cables for wiring you can't replace because the council won't let you until it burns down, and think you are going to pay for it to be rebuilt

my culture is today, not 200 years ago the middleclass like with fake antiques from homebase, which is just all tacky and shit to me

culture of today architecture wise is to build houses designed to pack as many ppl together as possible with the minimum cost toward materials, space and technology so don't tell me that this is "evolution" (like better) but marketing strategy and bs

of course that materials were not all just steel and glass those days but don't tell me that in terms of strength newer houses are better -remember cheap materials used today (cheap as fragile)

interiors would depend on the owners, no one stops you from doing this, although I doubt that you can afford it:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/common...hamber.jpg

And as I told you even if I am not an architect I could build any day the usual garbage architecture that you see as "modern" while on the other hand to build a Victorian house is not only difficult but extremely expensive.

i live in shittie bath, and its all victorian and georgian and edwardian, and a world heritage site, the council won't let you touch the inside of a building unless it litterally burns down or has been derelict for a year

my whole family are self empolyed builders/electricians/decorators and everything in the trade, someone does, except me

Being too costly to maintain a XVIII century building is another story, tell me more about. Where I work only roof reparations will cost 200,000 euros. But this does not mean that the building is "shit". Walls 1-1.5 m thick rumors say that the underground tunnels link the building to the city fortress where now is the Army HQ 3 km away.

The fortress: "The project was made after the plans of the Austrian general and architect Ferdinand Philipp von Harsch, having the form of a star with six corners, built with three rows of underground pillboxes and several trenches, which in the past could have been flooded. Construction lasted from 1763 to 1783, the building efforts were done with thousands of prisoners and with costs of 3 million Gulden. The main entrance gate and buildings inside the fortress were built in the Baroque style. Inside the fortress, there is a Catholic church, and in the surrounding church buildings were housed Franciscan monks, under the patronage of St. John of Capistrano. The last four monks lived in the fortress until 1861. Today the church and adjacent buildings are more or less in a derelict state" (wiki)

It's funny you say that because the house you posted is literally a bunch of boxes. :D

Really, the box is a good shape to live in, but modern buildings tend to be TOO boxy---even in the exterior, with things like flat rooves. They also look like they are made of plastic, glass, and concrete half the time, like a miniature skyscraper. And it seems to be a thing with the "elite" to build shit that is a dark shade of grey, or worse, bright yellow. You see them popping up everywhere. It is extremely ugly to my taste.

georgian, victorian and edwardian don't worth your money because you don't have afford it

and then if you'd own that money you'd better build a "modern" garbage inside 10 acre garden
or a pigs farm
or an entire African village
or 1,000 houses for Pygmees

see? it's getting cheaper and cheaper

Sure, as long as it really is free from any mortgage, or someone will have to pay off the loan which is connected to the mortgage. And what about the property where it is built on? Is it included or do you just get the house? In that case, you have to pay ground rent as well.

This scam reminds me of when we came up with a brilliant plan to sell drift cars on driftworks. It was simple, buy a 2gbp ticket until certain amount of tickets are sold, even if it took a year, then announce the winner at the end. So 3-5000 tickets, we are happy because it actually pays off the car and they are happy because they think they won a car for 2gbp. It's bulletproof. Very ebay like alternative
