its not worth bothering with, the launcher is a heap of shit and hogs your CPU, then you cannot resume downloads, after getting bored of the worlds slowest download speed
beth should learn to code, steam is a heap of crap and has 100 external libraries and api\s included to make it work, and still run like an optimized c++ program
baths launcher is .NET and like your running a P3 cpu
steam also resumes downloads and you can get 980kb/s with a 10Mbps connection, 8GB takes about 3 hours if its running at peak speed
Steam can't even get clicking on a link in the chat to work reliably. Sometimes the link filter will activate, sometimes it won't. Sometimes your link will open within 5 seconds; sometimes it will take 2 minutes. Who knows what kind of voodoo shit they've got going on in there. Not to mention the "last online" time is almost always wrong, and that it will say the person you are talking to is typing when he is not, very frequently.
And then there is the retardation that is the censoring of certain links based on god only knows what criteria. I've had links to perfectly legit news sites being blocked.
The sooner we can do away with all these "launchers", the better. I don't like having all my eggs in one basket.
i'll stick to steam, and limit download speeds so you have enough to be able to open web links, instead of putting up with some rubbish basic launcher where everything will be aimed at 12 year olds
