Any big differences for players? I dont think so. You still can change champion after your death.
ID trying to remove big score differences?(40 -2 )
Ok, but now less skilled player will lose 120 rounds(QC) in a row with score 3 0 instead of loosing 40 games(QL) with score 9 0. In both variants 360 0. Id think that after that, his feeling will be better? Lol

QL timelimit 10
QC timelimit 5, fraglimit 3 (it's like 3 short duels)

If you want to make player happy there is only one option - make ELO built in game, 50% win
Example:
Player1: (Number of champions)*(Number of duel maps) = Number of ELO's
That's how you can make valid(true) matchmaking.
Also, ID can see what champion has better ELO, what champion has worse ELO and to balance them.
This is mathematically correct.
Later i will try to write the table (without ELO analyze) about HPlimit,ArmorLimit,SpeedLimit,StrafeLimit,HitBoxLimit,AbilityLimit for every champion.
Also i suggest selectable spawns in duels. Unbalanced spawns still exists in Q3,QL,QC haha.
And yes, i'm agree with RG 80 hp. We reduced it in QL and RG is still most powerfull weapon, haha. Btw "weapons balance" is a myth, i mean no need to use word "balance" for weapons.
And word "matchmaking" has different characteristics and every man keep in mind different characteristics in his head about "matchmaking". I ask to use "search opponent by ELO rating" instead of "matchmaking" =)
And throw out K/D indicator from Quake - this is a piece of .....
