Update: In the video I said that everything shown may get rendered inaccurate by further changes to the game (as this is a beta), and it will happen with today's game update. Here are the announced balancing changes which will influence Tri-Bolt and Nailclimbing:

Tri-bolt:
Increased explosion delay to 250ms
Increase projectile speed +10m/s
Minimum splash damage is set to 5dmg

BJ Blazkowicz:
Slow firing weapons (RL, RG, SG, TB) now at 1.5x
Reduced rate of fire to 1.25x for high rate of fire weapons (Gauntlet, Machinegun, Nailgun, Heavy Machinegun, Super Nailgun, and Lightning Gun)

Yes, indeed. The balancing tweaks of today affected the Tri-Bolt, and Blazkowicz, so quite something probably changed. The principles should still apply, though. I'll test it as soon as possible.

UPDATE Here is from today's Patch Notes CBT 12. Most importantly: "Super Nailgun: Tweaked impulse values to make nailclimbing easier" Yay! :) And: "Super Nailgun: Changed damage from 12 to 20, and decreased the rate of fire 80 to 100 ms, resulting in an increase from;" "Nailgun: Changed rate of fire from 100 to 70 ms, resulting in an increase of 100 to 133 dps." Concerning the Tri-Bolt: "Explosive Damage is 40 dmg, for each bolt." Nothing said about self-damage, though.
