I don't even play OW but I know each character has a backstory, sometimes related to one another. Seem like Bethesda wanted to jump on the same train.

Now this piece of crap, \comics', is like a stupidified version of Arenas series. Why the fuck didn't bethesda collab with mr.Goss for that matter? I'm pretty sure - with that guy in their ranks they would've done a badass beautiful shit!

They want Lore to attract newcomers? WATCH THE FUCKING ARENAS, you stupid kiddie-spidy-man-pussy-ass comic lovers. Or a qIIIa intro, as a good start to think in the right direction. THAT was the shit to heat up your guts for immediate action urge in the first place, not some bullshit comic toilet paper. And kiss each other, bethgays. Because Beth is certainly 80% gay.

And even along with the old manual - why she has the stupid climacteric voice in QC then? She had a reptilishly-disgusting yet badass throaty rattle in Q3 - totally characterizing the predatorial crocodile beast, so why implement a non-suitable human voice to it?

Why fix the game when you can make comics instead.

If they wanted to go this way they shoud've hired a decent writer and go from there - make some good trailers for the fighters for starters.
And by trailers I dont mean a 40 cent framovie which highlights killing enemies playing with /handicap 1, but rather some 2 min intros on how the characters got to the Arenas Eternal, why and whats the deal with their individual skills.

But this is id and we all know how they deal with things that have a lot of potential. Even the QC version of Vadrigar is bored as fuck.

Man, it was already brilliantly done by Joe Goss! All id had to do is recruit this guy and remake/extend his work with the guy's inspiration and style.

The QC team really has to have it in their 'must do' list for every member - watch the Arenas series 1.
