how do you bunny hop in cs?

For those who want to know how to bunnyhop:

stick this alias in ur config:

alias +bj "+jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump; wait; +jump; wait; -jump"
alias -bj "-jump"

then bind a key to "+bj", i would suggest mouse3 since most people prefer it for ease of movement. Now do a strafe jump forwards and while in the air let go of the forward key and strafe the opposite way (e.g if u went left change to right) while pressing mouse3 as u land. Repeat as you will be zig-zaggin at high speed.

using scripts to trick for you is pretty damn lame :)

or u can bind mousewheel down to jump like most and do things by hand :p

if you're gonna bunny hop do it with skill at least. none of that bound carp. i just use the strafe and jump keys plus the mouse. it still kind of works in cs1.3.. especially the first jump ---> very useful for trickjumps

Using a script to help you bunnyhop in my opinion is very very gay and ive never done such, also the one mentioned above by Thorin will lock up your controls for the split second that it jumps. However it is possible now to write continuous looping bunnyhop scripts that do not affect keyboard input in just as many lines. Its a cheat tho imo, all scripts are a cheat :/. But you cannot bunnyhop effectively at all anymore in CS 1.3 so why bother? - 1.1 were the days :(

I don't really understand what makes it gay, i can bunnyhop just as well without using any script, however it makes more sense to use the foolproof method. If you wanna buy into some elitist jumping club then feel free to flame on :P

same technique, if u duck a bit u get speed, not as much as 1.1 tho

its now 1.5 an di can bunnyhop dotn duck that will make you go slower trust me i am an expert bunnyhopper
