ESPN published an interesting article about our new lovely game. Does Quake Champions has place in esport today and in future? Will viewers want to watch a super fast battle between Dinosaur and a Robot over and over again? Is 1 million bucks in price money for just one single World Championships enough?

Quake is distinct because no other game is as fast. It's the F-1 racing of the first-person shooter genre. ... We see a long, healthy road with this game, and we're taking this very seriously as an esport.- Matt Charles, senior producer at id Software for Quake Champion
