We wanted to give you Dan seat since he qualified through NA Regional but with the Qcon rule that we can't share players on 1 seat this has ruined the idea. The other BYOC competition is what Dan is also looking forward to winning with the other Australian players. We all hope that you can find some other way

Pretty sure BYOC seats are limited and all of them are already occupied/sold. It would take someone to give up their spot for evil in order for him to get a seat.

idd unlike agent, I don't think he has a chance to win anything more than 10K, but then again 10K are a substantial amount and it's a shame for such good players to have trouble participating.

What a bullshit - ID should give him his BYOC seat for FREE, as the previous quakecon finalist.

They provided 4 qualifiers of which first 3 he ignored, then a DE bracket where he just lost 2 games in a row. Ask yourself who was trying and who wasn't.

Clearly he wasn't motivated back then, and even now everyone is just saying he won't make it past top 16.

You can ask evil whether he knew the order of qualification will be used as base for seeding, but even if he didn't, his form clearly wasn't top 4 in Europe or top 8 globally, so it makes no difference for determining the actual winners of QC, which is more important than making sure some fallen star of QL gets $10k for his past troubles.

But I wish him luck in the BYOC and to prove us all wrong :)

I just sent him a email. I won a seat in a giveaway and looking to sell it as I already have a seat for this year.

Evil should now have been offered a BYOC ticket. They gave away free tickets in the Quakecon Discord. I contacted the winner and told him about Evil's situation. He was kind enough to want to part with his extra ticket and said he sent an email to the address listed in the OP. Not sure if it was still necessary or already too late, but props to SteelKage nevertheless.

I sent him an email about a byoc seat. I have an extra from winning a giveaway that I'm looking to sell. Don't need it due to having a seat already.

We have a ticket at this point, but he still needs help arranging a PC
