ESL/Quake announced their talent lineup for QWC17.

This list and the titles that ESL gave them:
* Stage Host: ReDeYe
* Desk Host: djWHEAT
* Analyst: Makaveli
* Commentator: DDK
* Commentator: Jehar
* Commentator: TosspoT
* Commentator: Zsx
* Commentator: Zoot
* Commentator: Blu
* Commentator: Ketchup
* Commentator: Mustard

I hope they pull some of the players for the analyst desk and colour commentary too. Who would you pair together for commentary?

James. We�ve had issues with James at previous events. Some Bethesda people lobbied to bring him back for Quakecon, feeling that he deserved another chance. That was a mistake. James is an ass, and we won�t be working with him again.

I mean even if the second stream doesn't have commentary, just having someone join the servers on it, will make us miss so many less important matches than if there is only one stream...

send msg to tim willits on instagram, i did . Need extra stream, or even some inhouse experimental demo system which they can use to make videos later of missed matches, if they even have gotten that far.

As i told him, im sure there are volunteers that would do it for free at quakecon .

Best Quake casting team ever. Good job.

Redeye and Wheat are fantastic hosts (just don't make them cast any matches), ddk and tosspot are solid professional commentators, and the condiments have been surprisingly good so far.

Good commentators spread the knowledge about the in-game decisions in (mostly) clear, simple terms.

Not so good commentators narrate what can be seen on screen, or try to hype what is happening without adding anything new.

You decide who is who.

The whole commentary at qcon stream was so annoying as fuck (except for zoot)

they did it actually like in the "2gd vs TotalBiscuit" video.... omg what a rail (just a default flick rail) omg what a great.....

Muted and it was almost enjoyable to watch... almost cuz it wasnt a quake game they played
