1) 99.9% of people do not aim, or play as well as tox.
2) Opponent will be returning fire.
3) Opponent will NOT be moving in such predictable patterns.

Wow that was fucked, that first rocket on Anarki was basically a direct and if it wasn't it should of done like at least 40 damage. One of the shotgun shots had all the pallets hit the model to do 8 damage and one of the ones after that doing 4 damage. Anyway if you add up all the damage he actually did do to him it was around 273 like wtf.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Quake Champions. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the rockets will go through a typical opponents body. There’s also Tim's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Ba'athist literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depth of this game, to realise that its not just the most skill based game ever made- it has real applications to LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Quake Champions truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the genius in Tim’s existential catchphrase “It's not a MOBA!” which itself is a cryptic reference to Plato's "republic". I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Saber Tech's genius netcode unfolds itself on their monitors. What fools.. how I pity them. =']
