yeah idk how this is supposed to work. slowing down the game would desync your client with the server so much after a while i dont get how this is supposed to work at all lol !!
I don't understand how this is to your advantage, all the enemies are still moving at the normal speed but with obviously bugged animations, all explosions, blood and particle effects are also slowed down which just makes everything look like a visual clusterfuck.
Enemies are moving slower, so are rockets or nailgun shots. When u fire nailgun u see 2x fired shots moving slowly and when they hit they actually hit x2 dmg. I think everyone noticed nailgun bug but here u can see how it actually work. You can really see how is it, but while playing the game everything moves slower except you. Placing rockets is a joke playing like this. This is 40 fps video so its not notable that much compared to 120fps gameplay. Bethesda thanked me for that and they are actively working on this (at least they adressed it).
welp, you told in chat late night yesterday that you played with a glitch that makes everything slower, but you didn't seem faster to me. This might become really annoying to see which players are abusing this, but atleast they ban players for abusing this according to your comment below.

Its actually cos I played with this bug 1 hour on public server. I was testing it, after recorded a video of it to show ppl what I discovered, but this was enough to ban me as this is considered a as a cheat, but I was not aware that I will get ban for this. I was trying to help them as I always do... Im really huge QC fan, I was really trying to support them with kind words, arguing with ppl who talk shit about QC, even buying stuff from them, but then I got this. I mean, syncerror has probably nothing to do with this he is really nice, he tries always to help Quake fans if hes aval. at least he always helped me. There are others, and i probably deserve this, but its lesson for next time I guess.. How does new patch feel anyway? Im not able to test it :(
you were testing the bug? for 1 hour? after you recorded a video? to help id? and you thought that their anti cheat algorithms would differentiate between you only testing the cheat and somebody who really cheats? =D
This isn't possible, not what you say is happening. It's only a visual bug on the animations. At most you just fucked with the netcode making the backward reconciliation a little longer or weirder than already is, but you ain't making other people move slower.
Opponents, rocket, triblot and nailgun shots were moving slow. Nailgun bullets are like in matrix bullet effect. Its not seen in 40 fps video while with 120 fps is a whole different story. I dont get it why ppl talk about something they didnt see / try. Ask devs they can tell u more how is this possible.

You can make some sort of speedhack for any networked game with varying effects, depending on netcode. This comes from inherent discrepancy between server and client time sources. It's as old as online games – there were such "cheats" for all quake versions. Nothing to see here.
dunno m8 having people move slower on a client (than they would do in reality on the server) while you can still hit them... Kinda is a big deal in showing that the networking code is really really strange!
I can hardly even fathom how they managed to get this to fail in such a way (as they said the game is now mostly server authoritative). Although if the unlagged is infinitely long as well is the server history of states... You might be able to get this kind of behavior I guess...
