Duel in QC is more accessible compared to QL

i played 20-30 minutes of QC beta. i was forced to play FFA. i couldn't play duel at all, because i didn't have enough champions to qualify to try. instantly uninstalled and lost all interest in the game.

Imo a good way to get around this would be to adopt the system that Splash Damage used for Dirty Bomb - make a rotation of 2-3 champions temporarily free for everyone with each update, so that players who don't own all the champions have the opportunity to: a) play duel, and b) try out champions they don't currently own in public modes. When the next update comes, those three champions become locked again and they cycle through every champion this way.

I agree that it's ridiculous that a mode is currently locked behind a paywall, and nobody seems to really be making a fuss about it (even those like myself who have bought the champions pack).

This is true and unfortunantly a very sad decision if they want to keep it this way. It would be much better if it were the other way around that all champions are free and available in duel as it would bring in a lot more players to the gametype.

I prefer that new players are forced to start off with FFA, I wouldn't even allow them into a TDM / Sac game until they are level 10 to level 20.
Unlocking new game modes is quite a significant thing for new players as well I think and might help to initially keep them (so it should be known at the start at which level you are allowed to get into which other modes for the F2P)

I like the questions in general, but I suggest having a "N.A."-Answer for some questions, because I only played duel and I have no particular oppinion about sacrifice. I just clicked neutral all the way through, but thats not my oppinion, which distorts the final result and a "N.A." would not.

answered it, but i can't shake the feeling that no matter what they do, if they do not remove the "unlagged" feel from the already shitty netcode i might never actually enjoy the game, stopped playing ql because of the "oh look, i can rail around corners" netcode..
