I appreciate the effort and it was cleanly done but I would have wanted a more compact and condensed version, highlighting some longer plays and sequencing some nice shots.

This was not a fragmovie where frags are important. If you look carefully you can see how k1llsen is climbing way to top. Video shows you how he won round by round (from round 1 to round 3, from map 1 to map 3) with each opponent. This was not meant to be a fragmovie. It was just k1llsen climbing to top to achieve victory.

I enjoyed it, I just think there was perhaps a way to make it more enjoyable, add music drowning out the commentary, pick out some of the more important frags and make it shorter

To be honest i don't watch videos of quake or CS it's not 60fps. This low frame rate... i can't get interested anymore. I might watch a live event with just 30 fps, but not a vod.

Here is an example where I used NCP music for background "Rapha twitch highlights" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCGnXQfqyqU&t and ppl dislike it a lot. Im a big fan of music being in background + sync effects, but due to different taste of music I choose not to add music in background this time
