Last I heard, he is still waiting for a trial. In pretrial center. For two years already, yeah. Judges are still going through all the case files.

Things like that happen not only in Russia, why be so quick with stereotypes? But it's still a sad thing, Ash is a great guy, I had a lot of fun following his streams and occasionally playing with or against him.

This particular case is quite big, mainly because it involved a lot of people, both on victims and criminals parts. I don't really know if Ash is innocent, he was brought from Yekaterinburg to Moscow, detained and was denied a bail or a house arrest. So he waits.

I heard there are a lot of case files and hearings are keep being postponed.

well keeping someone detained usually means its a confirmed suspicion + its expected that he might attempt to escape the country, hide, destroy evidence or further harm victims.

2 years is extremly long and unusal for beeing detained (no idea if this is normal for russia)
