Yeah this could just be the steam features for fps but they could've integrated it in the game settings which'd be noice.

Yeah sure that's gonna happen, and not like someone makes a frag, and after that you can chase him around the map forever with the shit low damage weapons even more hopelessly than before, as he is stalling for that 1-0 / 5 min win, right? Thanks to the amazing QC duel mode.

Didn't say I liked the way QC duel is at the moment but it should be an improvement going onwards.

Lest we not forget the countless 1-0 10 min timelimit (or even 15) competitive games there have also been in the past quakes.

10x more enjoyable to watch those past games though

for me they still don't add because there is a DHW on december, i know only who have to partecipate at the tourney play sacrifice, but..if they add new mode, will be in 2018. imho.

ctf probably wont be out until 2 months after or before the next Quakecon.

If this is what they were working on then QC is not going to progress in the upcoming months. Not a single thing shown on that screenshot is going to bring more people in, or stop the game from bleeding players, or increase its horrible Steam rating.

-Quake 1 monsters
-Copy the fuck out of SMITE/DOTA2 and make it a FPS + MOBA with quake weapons with 2 teams.

= win.

right, if they were to copy smite or dota i dont think the general peeps would choose quake champions over the established gamess, and with the history of not showing any improvement gameplay-wise, the established brands would just stomp qc either way. its not as if smite is doing well comparatively even with the moba gimmick

smite is still third person though, a fps version would do well
