Depends... if there are major news popping left and right and a lot of these kinds of videos are making "more important stuff" less visible, then it's a problem.

If it's just one video once in a while and there aren't many news anyway... then I'm all for majoring it.

there was a recent thread in the admin forum about whether or not to make content that is duplicating twitch streams (ie careem's vods on youtube, or the video i linked in the parent post) major. admin consensus was that it shouldn't be major (especially if monetized). from what i understand, the reasoning is that it just isn't the sort of content that should be pushed forward that way. some sort of 'editorial standards'.

one admin advocated for burning users who post duplicated/copied content at the stake.

I dont care about copying but the production itself isn't good enough.

And I had a space ctf fragmovie majored.

I've a solution, what if careem helps zeroql with finding the content, and zero does the production.
