Leave it if it works for you. Why do you need external validation.

It is more useful in 1v1 or small teams. In a CA server with 24 people I'd say it's very distracting.

Played 4vs4 TDM, maybe it takes some time to get used to but I'll turn it off for now. Guess it depends on the map also etc.

In ctf it's a must have to be able to see flag/quad carriers through walls (atleast the lightning :))

But I stopped caring about it for a long time now.

Ever since I bought a new computer in ~2009 I left dynamic light on, it's too valuable to see the quad carrier, flashes of gauntlet use, and find flag carriers.

If you do turn it off if you're elaving it on is struggling to maintain 125fps (or higher if using a higher refresh rate) I would definitely bind a toggle for it

Try 0.5 then you have the best from both worlds
