a seriously alot better in traktor then rekordbox, besides the channel mixers -db meters not working, pioneer might always fix them with a random firmware update
the latency is rubbish and has a minimum of 1.5ms which is no good for any real live mixing or a studio setup running on thunderbolt hubs and USB 3 isochronous hubs etc with everything else running on 1ms, and 48,000hz, while the DDJ-RX can only output 44,100hz
good for bedrooms, not much else, get one on ebay for £600 and its good for 5+ years, its not worth any more then £600, and £600 is pushing the limits for a few fancy knobs and buttons
what was your topic about? can't see what problem they'd have with a topic about their own products?
I have some audio stuff (beheringer mics, rme interfaces, focusrite isa premap etc) but it's all for guitar/band recording so I have no experience with DJ stuff
its pioneer, they are shit in general, all the dumb people love them, the hardware is in all the clubs, for people who make mixes in ableton, because the hardware is so bad and the sound quality so shit, you are unable to mix live on most of their hardware since 2005
i asked if it had a full hardware external mixer or another peice of pioneer junk
if you use traktor in external mode, the DDJ-RX is a hybrid mixer, and only worth £600 retail, to begin with
the DDJ-RX still sounds terrible when using pioneer's rekordbox, they need some new engineer's to code brand new EQ's, the DDJ-RX sounds a massive amount better in traktor, using the XLR on the DDJ-RX to a rack mount AMP for audio
the VCI-400 was more complex internally then the DDJ-RX, as is the VMS4.1, with the DDJ-RX, you are paying £500 for the extra alloy and the fancy buttons and knobs
not really, its not alien, its british, built by BAE System's, a real space plane with EM Drive, that can take off from a run way and fly into space because no air is needed for combustion rocket and jet fuels, its just being push by the repelling force of magnets and pulses, the high power and friction from particles inside the magnetic fields create the plasma
me human, you meet my pagan fist of fuck you
physic's man, physic's, have a fixed ring, or ring manget is better, and turn them off and on 100,000 times a second while in atmospheres like a maglev train, then compress or turn up the power for instant lightspeed when in space, a plane that can travel at mach 7 would do 256 million MPH when in space in 0.5 seconds
who knows, at half the speed of light which is 256 million MPH, it takes 16 hours to reach the edge of the solar system, so a prototype. 3 or 4 times bigger then the average jet fighter would probably be able to get to jupiter or saturn in a single night and return, having to carry the oxygen and hull shielding
and i doubt it is going 256 million MPH, it would be 2 million MPH tops, if BAE System's have spent 30 years refining the challenger 2 tank hull shielding that makes it invincible. and also allows a challenger 2 to stay inside a nuclear fallout zone for 10 years
170 is easy without sync and quantize, and so is 180bpm
traktor is best for any 4/4 music, anyone around europe will more then likely use traktor over rubbish serato with aload of junk on screen you do not need to see
mix like the good old days of vinyl and turn that stuff off
nothing on the mixer in traktor is moving, the VMS4.1 has a full hardware mixer and can use the external mixer mode with 48,000hz upsampling in the ASIO drivers unlike the DDJ-RX
the mapping has been made with traktor v2.8.0, all the buttons on the DDJ-RX console will work as the label says, with 4 decks, 4 FX units and 4 Remix decks, the only changes are as follows :
browser back button = scroll down tree list
browser tag button = scroll up tree list
browser knob button push = expand tree list
mixer channel FX 1 & 2 = will load next/previous track in browser
slip/vinyl button = will switch between track and remix deck mode on deck layers 1,2,3,4
grid adjust button = will increase the slicers, freezemode steps to match the
number of pads
grid slide button = will decrease the slicers, freezemode steps
shift + FX unit knob = select FX when Fx unit is in group mode
shift + needle touch strip = zoom in on waveform
the only "bug" is when you first power on or load traktor, you will need to press deck layer buttons 1 & 2 to enable a modifier which will allow the FX units to work, along with FX units 3 & 4 for decks C & D
I also have'nt included any pad FX
when a remix deck is being used, you will need the sampler pads, which only play 2 samples on each slot of a deck
