While browsing through the movie listings here on ESR, I did not manage to find any entry for Frags Done Extreme 2 (fde2), which is certainly a breach against the Geneva Convention. If any movie deserves to be in the Hall of Fame it is this awardwinning movie. This single movie has me convinced that QW is the coolest multiplayer game ever, without ever playing it. If you haven't seen it, you really should.

More like "posting movies", since the phrase "reposting" suggests it was posted as a movie before. Anyways, I only did it to be able to move it to the HoF.

If you want to wade through the news to find that newspost which mentioned the movie over a year ago and add it to the HoF, feel free. When you are done, I'll delete this post.

ocarina of time is a lame kiddy game with too much colour and too little innovative gameplay.

And the N64 was never suited for 3D graphics at all, don't understand why they made games. They should have sticked to 2D until they achieved the current quality of 3D graphics which is on par with PC graphics.

I was surprised to see that Dag Def Extreme 2 didn't get any nominations - at least for best quality video, even though it's QW it's made on fuhquake (eye candy QW, really cool) and the quality is really good.

fde2 is so old compared to DDE2, a lot more tricks were learned by that time. Crazy that an fps was still learning tricks after 5 years.

Dde2 is a good movie, but I still like fde2 better for some reason. Perhaps it is that insane Lakerman frag or the last jump of the movie or something else, but this one sticks out more for me.

FDE2 is better in terms of frags I think (And those Lakerman frags were from way back in '99 - when that demo vs Reload came out it was just unbelievable.)

However, if you're looking at stuff like image quality there is just no contest whatsoever - DDE2 owns FDE2 hands down. And your awards aren't just for quality of frags...

I have nothing to do with the awards thingy. Apart from my single vote in the viewers choice of course. If someone asked me to be in the jury for best picture I would go with fde2 over dde2 (I doubt fde2 is a nominee for the technichal stuff). But that is just me of course, I am sure some people feel the other way around.

That's correct dist. The client used allows a smoother recording, not to forget the enhanced graphics. So DDE2 looks better. Also new demo recording techniques like MVD and the yet smoother KTPro allow a more fancy play.

QW is still quite popular, and new people start playing it every day. its not to late for u guys as well. fuck the new shit, QW is hands down the best. id software needs to get that stick out of there ass, make q4, have qw movement, remove the rail gun, speed up the rockets a little, and bam q4 would be fuckin bangin.

It's the insane display of madskill that just makes me go "Wooohaa!!!". ----> =O
And this skill is something every FPS gamer should be able to appreciate. At least I think so... =P

this movie was pretty cool but really strange at the same time. ive never played qw online so i cant really appreciate the skill it takes to juggle ppl like that, but tbh it looked like the nme guys were kinda flying and dancing between rockets. pretty strange.. :)
