Every month or so you have to physically dismantle the radiatorit to remove all of the caked-on dust accumulation.

I had a Corsair H100i die on me after about 2 years, and it also didn't make my 3770K run any cooler than it did on a flimsy ZALMAN CNPS air cooler.

Keep in mind, my 3770K is not overclocked.

Yes, but that simply involves opening your case and blowing your heatsink with a can of pressurized air.

thats all you have todo with the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing Red 140, the extra 2cm stops the dirt build up being to bad, and also works better at cooling and runs quieter

and you can also have a fan on both sides if you wish

set it up so its an exhaust if you only have 1 fan on it

You could go with a Prolimatech Megahalems and put your own fans on it based on clearance and RGB. But honestly if you want to avoid LP memory your best bet might be the new Corsair H115i Pro which aims to run more quiet than it does cool according to reviews.

I quite like the look of the NZXT Kraken X62 but since you're kind of against AIO's, the H115i Pro might be the one to sway you back. I'm looking at my next build and want fullsized memory this time, so I'm just sucking it up and going with an AIO liquid cooler.

Instead of wanting fancy LEDs, you should care about noise and go passive or water-cooled. Just my personal preference.

The noise of any CPU cooler will be drowned out by the GPU fans.

From my experience, GPU fans have always been louder.

Right, GPU fans tend to be smaller in diameter and therefore need higher RPM to provide the needed mass flow, which results in more noise.
But guess what, my GPUs are passive aswell and same applies to my power unit, muharharhar.
The only fan I have is a large diameter one at the chassis. My computer is so silent, that I have to look at the front lights in order to judge if it is on or off.

Silence >> Performance + LEDs

corsair h100i v2 or bigger. replace the corsair fans with noctuas and add a manual fan curve. super quiet.
