Still using wmo but hasn't been plain sailing with ql.
Sensitivity/accel feels solid when first launching the game but upon map change, feels like a load of accel is being applied to the mouse. It's so bad it feels like mouse input is being changed from raw to windows input.
Checked cfg and there's no possibility of that being the cause (mouse settings aren't changed). In_restart does nothing to fix.
still using WMO.. but looking to move on soon. finalmouse ultralight looks interesting, haven't tried that shape before but same dimensions as wmo and 70g is nice. it's between that or zowie fk, was hoping they would release a new model with 3360 sensor like they did for the ec, but if all else fails i'll just take one of my dead wmos and put a g303 pcb in it or something.
Switched to the Zowie FK1 like 2 months ago since I started playing a lot of Fortnite and BattlEye doesnt allow Windows Test Signing Mode (which means no 500hz WMO). Took me a while to get used to the sidebuttons but apart from that its a perfect replacement - oh and it felt good to finally get rid of the mousewheel bug.
I see people using all the time, alot of shops\businesses still use em ;)
Also, yes , i often go back to wmo, because shape, sensor placement, weight just makes it so natural to use.
But with the quality\sensor\buttons of newer mouses like the g-pro , in theory wmo is bad in comparisons. So if you can make movement feel natural with a newer better mouse, there is 0 reasons to use wmo.
And for work its annoying to use , 400dpi is too low for my 5 monitor setup :P Want 1600 dpi for my monitor setup .
Also , i use it with my laptop, as it works on every surface , couch works just fine as mousepad :p
how are the button clicks? that's the main thing that worries me about switching to it, I like the really light clicks of wmo and I heard the buttons on zowie mice are fairly stiff.
Happens in every game, including cs and pubg. It drives me crazy how it just stops tracking for a second at times. It also makes me paranoid that it's gonna happen so it influences my game. I'm a ditch it tomorrow for a steelseries.
yea i know the feeling, when I was using the original g400 the cord was very bad and would cut out intermittently and stop working then i'd hear the usb windows ding. was super frustrating
