Unbeknown to Tim and his sugarbound minions, this is what QC was actually made for. Not that I give a damn, but 2v2 is what can actually save QC. id software just needs to have some fucking balls like the ballers they were 20 years ago, balls to the wall and behind the 8-ball, shift-fucking-delete the atrocity that is duel, make all other modes unranked casual fiestas, and declare 2v2 as the main if-not-only gamemode, the ONLY way to unlock that hat you always wanted, stand out from the pack, slam down their their ugly fucking 2v2 FPS banner in the greaseridden monotonous plains that we know as ESPORTS promote that shit, convince the world that this is what the fuck doritos and mountain dew is all about, hype it Tim hype it like you never fucking hyped anything before, hype it until even I believe it. become erect when you see Rapha & Evil vs Cypher & Cooller, fallen sub-quake heros of yore putting their differences aside to fight for the ultimate glory, hear the casters rain awe upon our ears with their paired names tearing at each other's throats with the latent wrath of a decade of utter afps mediocrity for a slice of the next million dollar cheesecake, hell even add 2v2 CTF and 2v2 sacrificals for all I care Tim you bald cunt, this is what champions are all about now!!!!

It's the only mode that really works right now. nyx vs nyx is tedious, sacrifice is a bad gimmick, and the maps are too small and lack resources for full-blown 4v4.

sacrifice sucks because it keeps telling you to run the other way when it just told you to run that way.
4v4 tdm is pretty good.
ffa sucks. i'm a ffa guy, and i avoid it.

2vs2 walks on the fine line between individual skill and teamplay.. also infinitely easier to follow as a spectator than sacrifice, without the dead moments of +back duel as well

Yeah, 2vs2 was my favorite mode to watch in ql.
And this mode suits QC perfectly, you even forget about all imperfections for a while.
