You can see in the trailer, that it will be 100% trash! Poor attempt to replicate the aesthetic of the original - pathetic!

Where? Looks good to me.

I will watch it and pay money for it, and it will be alright; but I will have forgotten it the next day, because it's generic. So it won't be a bad movie, but it will be pathetic in comparison to the original. Take the shot depicting the street f.e. it lacks the genuine grimeyness of the original, it looks clean and basically like a film-set. I like Ryan Gosling, but he also seems too nice a boy for a Bladerunner who operates at the edge of society. Ofc I like Harrison Ford, but all those remakes Indiana Jones, Star Wars it just doesn't feel right let the old man alone.
It's just a money grab and a lazy remake it will not have an interesting story, becvause that has already been told and it will have all those embarassing puns in it. It's sad to see the old man been dragged into this mess!

Just for the record: I was wrong.Bladerunner is awesome. Probably one of the best Sequels I have ever seen of anything. One could potentially call it a masterpiece. Also good acting from blond Mr.Defaultface.

Anyone compare the number of women protagonists and their relation to their roles in the movies Blade Runner 20xxx and older one and tell me that there is no unbalance. It is nothing new that usually women make less interesting roles in movies as acting if you put aside their sensuality and sex appeal like about love stories, if you are man. There is no such thing as charisma coming from women to men, there is tremendous sexual attraction and the whole hormonal effect -nature's fault, we were build to want to get into their bedroom, not to debate endless stupid women philosophy. Knowingly or not we watch movies for a reason and this is to reinforce ourselves with our role in the world as a reminder. When I see White Tiger (Belyy Tigr) ie I feel my true call for soldiery and it reinforces my view on life and war. Mainly thanks to the fact that the main protagonist is also a male. I could not relate to it if the main protagonist is a woman. The more women you put in the movie to take away our roles the more you inherit our space to develop our personality. Not only that but you also confuse women giving them unfit roles. Things are not so simple and you are too stupid and undeveloped to be able to understand. Christian religion understood this well that's why God is in the image of father or husband in the family and this is supposed to be the model for the kids. Take away this and you got undeveloped and confused kids not knowing if they are woman or man and not making kids, giving the empty space to less "enlightened" people or barbarians, like the Romans called them. Rings any bell? "Refugees much"? This is so old already and all great civilizations of the past stand witness to this. Probably that's why you seem only half grown underdeveloped. Because too often without hesitation you took women equal rights as granted and you never had the opportunity to know yourself. I call modern women the pants women bc their habit to wear pants while in good old times that was a proverb about the pants wearer.

Yeah ok, but can you really interpret the film in this way, so that it makes sense? I think not. See, I'm not criticizing your views (I don't care about them), I just disagree on how you interpret the film.

First you have to look at what the film really is about, in a condensed sense, then you start from there.

What you are doing is lay out a worldview (fair enough) and then you see one little detail (the high ranking police woman) which runs contrary to that and on the basis on that detail you dismiss the whole
film.

Just like a feminist would do who might claim, that there are not enough women in a film, who could act as a rolemodel for a little girl. So I ask you, are you that little girl?

Would like to know what films you like and don't consider propaganda.

Better watch Ghost in the Shell, looks more promising from the looks, even though probably 100% action trash :
