There was another guy, a nutritionist or something like that, that wanted to demonstrate it's know what you eat but how much that matters the most; he ate only burgers for some months, and actually lost weight.

Bacon and eggs = a lot of protein and fat, we need both. Modern studies have proven bacon and eggs to be a quite solid breakfast and it kind of prohibits your body from craving as much food as it normally would later during the day. Have something to do with eating proteins early on during the day. Thus you should actually reducer your body weight by eating bacon and eggs for breakfast.

I can imagine eggs being healthy, but bacon? Probably any other fat is healthier than bacon fat, then tons of salt, I dunno...

One of my grandfather ate well salted eggs and bacon (with onions) and with home made white bread every morning. Every morning! I ate the same many times, when I spent my holidays there, and it was delicious indeed, but I can't image I could do it for many decades on a daily basis. I guess he just loved that food so much (dinner and lunch was always something different tho).
He also smoke a lot from those old kind of cigarettes which didn't have filters, and he had his daily share from some hell strong palinka too......

The only thing that causes heart disease is clogged arteries, fact and the only thing which causes this is plaque built up from animal products (ALL animal products, milk, cheese, chicken, pork, beef etc) Varying amounts in each animal.

Plants have cholesterol yes, but quite literally 0.000000000000001% when compared to animals hence why you could eat plant foods until you're sick and you'll never accumulate enough cholesterol to kill you as opposed to animal products.

Almost every single cell in your body makes cholesterol. The only thing that seems to really matter is how high your triglycerides are and to some degree your hdl:ldl ratio but that also seems to be dependant on your intake of carbs.

We don't need a lot of calories, everything automated from going to work, producing food to leisure time in front of the TV. Heard my GP talking how a retiring person just needs 900 kcal anymore. A moderately leisurely 30 y old will need maybe 1400-2200?

And those that are quite active know what they need - energy in form of carbs and fat to restore glycogen storage - and with pretty much anything protein comes with it in a concentration high enough to build functional muscle and repair micro injuries.

All of these low/high/... carb/fat/protein diets are fads unless you have a certain need.
