Good to see you are still around. It saddens me to see you are playing Quake Champions, a game literally designed by shills for shills. While CPM isn't exactly as robust and full of players like Quake Live or Quake Champions, the gameplay and hit-registration doesn't feel like some cheap crap made from China in a sweat-shop.

Why are these tournaments looking so sad? As sad as TCPM $1000 SERIES where you had asked people to pay-to-play in the tournament? Where like 5 or 8 USA players played in the US division and barely 16 in the EU division and you just paid gaiia a fat-check for a nothingburger of a tournament. Where you rewarded players in the top 16 prizes (lmao, seriously TOP 16?) And you had a maximum of 64 players in each region (USA/EU) as if you can even get 64 people at the time to play in this pay-to-play "top 16" trophy generation tournament.

honestly, I think you are a little envious. While you spent 1,000 dollars to try to attract people to play a game by asking them to pay $5.00 to participate, and essentially payed Kwong even though he skipped your final (lmao), and just gave gaiia a nice fat-paycheck (well-deserved by the way), xero with less capital investment has gotten 40 players plus and will likely get to that 64 you had dreamed 2 years ago. Now, I think the timing is just right, and the timing of your tournament was just wrong so it isn't all your fault. But man, the way you made people register for that tourney by paying into it had to be one of the biggest failures, because it actually made people NOT want to register even though they'd have gotten their money refunded or you didn't get the message to the right audience. Who were even the top players who played in those games? Just let's forget it.

By the way, I have nothing against you, and I actually hope you come around to the community again, I wouldn't mind capturing some flags with you but if you are going to act like you are "capturing fags" instead of flags, and being bitter that xero touched you someplace where it hurts and you can't "shit talk" an administrator of an IRC/Discord channel, you need to grow up. Get over it. I wasn't always on great terms with xero but you just learn to live and let live.

I hope you realize Quake Champions is a toxic community and has really shitty hit-registration and "sort yourself out." I think that it's also worth mentioning insulting people because of your personal issues shouldn't extend to the tournaments they run, especially if they seem to have a better track record than "TCPM."

Anyway, I hope you comeback, this was way long-winded and I hope it doesn't sound too harsh. The way I read it, you sound a bit jealous given how the last tournament you ran went. Which I spectated in all it's glory and got to watch the amazing final of VORPAL throwing versus gaiia and typing during the final how it isn't even worth playing. Classic CPM shit.

You can critique his attempts but he did put in effort/money to create tournaments for CPM. Where's the respect for that? It's attitudes like yours that makes people not want to put in the effort when they're attacked for it. Whether or not he did it the way *you* think best, he still put in the effort/money and that at least deserves respect.

I don't know why Mafia would "come around" to a community that acts the way it does towards him. Everyone is always piling on him regardless of what he says/does and of course he's pissed about it. He can't even post in CPM Discord because he's immediately attacked. There's a point at which it stops being funny or "in good fun" and starts becoming bullying and harassment.

If you or anyone else is serious about growing the community, maybe spend a little time reflecting on why it's "okay" to treat people like that within the community. It's time to grow up.
