Its cheaters paradise now. Someone can aimbot and wh against anyone and theres no way to prove iz since his profile is private and you cant find him after the game because the Anonymous1 you played against is Just a broken link on your qlstats page. Fuck Anonymous players
In steam go to friends page-> click drop down for ‘recently played with’. The steam accounts for those in your games show there.
Or.
In game, press escape, go to Admin. Click on player and view profile. Their steam account is there.
Or.
In Quake Live menu go to Recent Matches. Click the player names in the game list. It’ll show you their steam profile page.
That also contains the stats for the match if you are interested.
You guys realise that they're only anonymous on the qlstats site but the database still tracks their elo for shuffles on servers right? So it really doesn't matter if people make their accounts public or not.
Why on God's green earth would this tool make an option to hide players ID?! Is he supporting cheaters now or in denial that he sucks at QL so now he is hiding names?
Well I guess he could decide to completely ignore the new data regulations in place and just have his site shut down + a massive fine to pay. All so that you can check the profiles of some nerds who just gave you a beating. Sounds reasonable.
I know it must be hard to be uneducated, and obviously I know I essentially made you appear like a total clueless idiot with my answer, but Is that really the best answer you could think of?
So I took a 1 year break from gaming, I come back, play a few ca games and I lose like 300 elo in 2 games, same thing happend for duel. someone mind explaining what happend?
After long breaks, it acts essentially as if you are a new player again. you can see this from players that stop playing for a while at the top of the leaderboard, they come back and win/lose, it is usually very significant the point gain/loss.
Not only was it better with more statistics - The dev was more active and "least tried" to control stat farming noobs like this one https://qlstats.net/player/262229
Hopefully qlstats will get a nice revamp in the future since those screenshots can give ideas
