I have quite a lot of old Clanbase q2ctf demos, a mate was admin and subsequently gave me tons of demos, they are arranged by team and pov in zip files (most of them atleast), it was mandatory to upload pov-demos for all players in CB and I think my mate pretty much collected all of them during a couple of years. I just think the demos would be better of on the internet than they are on a couple of dvds in my basement...

I still have cd's with about thousands demos from the days they were live uploaded from gtv recordings and events straight to cyberfight.ru

I wonder if you can help me find some Quake2 demos, that I didn't manage to download, before they where lost on q2scene.net/ds.

Its the EDL#9 Final between Purri and David. I managed to download the POV demos from David but not from Purri. They are listed here http://www.q2scene.net/ds/index.php?op=sd&...&idc=0
But they cannot be downloaded any more.

I managed to find 2 out of 5 on your site (q2dm3 and ztn2dm2). But I'm still missing q2duel5, q2rdm2 and ptrip.

These demos are from April 10, 2011. Maybe they are named with D4v1D instead of David.

David at the top of his game and Purri just being himself as always. Both are always amazing to watch and mix intelligent strategy with godlike aim. It is interesting to watch Purri as the old master with more experience overall, especially on less popular maps; against David, who has perhaps the fastest response time(with accuracy) of any Q2 player ever. These demos are a good example of the quality that my site is full of. (insert joke here!)

I like your spread of games. If I ever bother to spent more than five minutes a month on youtube, I imagine I'd visit your channel regularly.
Your comment points out a weakness in marketing my site. Other than ESR, there aren't any worthwhile FPS gaming sites that are active anymore to reach potential visitors.
