Hopefully they worked on the performance issues which got introduced since last patch. Before I would have solid 150fps on all maps in 2v2, now I get drops to 80/100 on corrupted, sarnath & DM6 in battles.

So far they didn't even acknowledged this issue officialy so either they know what is causing it and it is intentional or they don't care.

Maybe, just maybe it was the implementation of that HRTF audio system causing it. We'll see.

But I fear the worst..

Although they didn't mention it in the changelog, but they introduced some netcode changes with this patch... if your connection is stable then you probably won't notice it, but the game became almost unplayable if your ping fluctuates... :/

I understand there are situations that our out of control regarding having the optimal setup to enjoy our beloved video games.

However, like many of us experienced FPS players and I'm assuming you're in that category too should know how much a Wi-Fi connection hinders said type of video game. Even consoles struggle and they are optimised to run primarily on Wi-Fi due to the casual nature and yet games like COD warp/rubber band etc.

I'm on a 200/200 line at the moment and as soon as I attempt to use Wi-Fi my Quake Champions goes to shit, as soon as I plug in the LAN cable it's like I'm playing the best FPS game the world has ever seen.

So I do agree with you regarding development of the game, devs need to look at creating an environment that won't alienate the Wi-Fi using counterparts.

Abilities should be pickups that spawn once every 45 seconds giving you one charge of your champion's ability, with no other way to gain them.

That "patching" makes no sense. Want to nerf shotgun? Then reduce the damage, don't add 50 milliseconds of cooldown. Now the timing on the shots, that's been the same since forever, is fucked.
