Look what I've found! I just recieved 3 WMOs, but for the first time ever the cable is white o.o
furthermore, these are dated 08.07! i thought the production was stopped around '05 lol
I have had one that says 1.1a in the bottom and has grey ish sides, others that dont say 1.1a in the bottom but are supposedly legit and are all black, and there are variations in strenght of the mousewheel rotation
I dont know what to think anymore. Mine were bought from ebay except the first one which I bought ages ago in a local online shop. None came with original packaging.
could you first try to ask the seller if he can ship it to germany, please? If the seller won't be able to help you, I'm sure we could arrange the shipment.
Anyway, let me do some testing first, so you won't be disappointed (didn't have any time to have a quality look this week).
I don't know if its some weird refub, but if you're selling some weird old MS mice for 4$, why even care and refubrish it in the first place (where's profit in this) or wtf?. Maybe these come from some messed up production line?
The sensor felt great (but as I mentioned I just toyed around with it just briefly).
he can only write in polish and i have a hard time understanding/translating it with google, and additionally his time to reply is way above 24hrs.
Would you mind ordering 1-2 for me and ship them to germany?
I would pay you through paypal first, so you are on the safe site here.
If i understood him correctly he wanted me to pay first, but didnt provide any paypal info. If you do not want to ship as a middlemen, could you talk to him in polish and get his paypal and help me with the communication?
So i could atleast pay him for 2-3 wmos + shipping and be safe, that he will be able to ship within a reasonable timeframe?
Looks fine to me, I guess they might have been made for some company on a large bulk order, and they asked for white cables, or they didn't care about the cable colour and they just somehow ended up white.
anyways, seems a bit strange to me that on this page u have WMO and IMO pics, and there's nowhere written its wmo or imo, just "microsoft mouse". So i guess u can get IMO from there as well. Also those wmo's i bought costed me about 12 euro while these are being sold for about 4 euro. Way cheaper, but still i guess u got same wmo i did. Custom cable, transparent plastic.
these wmo's i have are really good, i mean, i buy these wmo's since 5 years. One last for about a year (max 2) then they just stop working or get some issues but u can simply buy another one (4 euro per year for a mouse isnt a bad deal) but still u get 1 year warranty for these so i guess its worth buying.
sensor randomly stops working for a sec or two, after some time it happens more often until it stops working completly. That happend for 2 of my wmo's after about a 1,5y of using.
Wmo that i use now i bought april '17 and so far its working good. No issues at all.
nope, as i said, issue happens from time to time, apart from that it works fine but after some time it dies completly. After that i opened it to clean it up in hopes that i maybe resurrect it but didnt help. Didnt see any damages inside either. Has to be sensor issue, but cant blame it, these mices are 2nd or who knows which hand. It could have been used for 10 years before i bought these.
Never saw a legit WMO / IMO / IME 3.0, that has other problems than the classical cord / microswitch / need new feet combo (had 9 years old IMO, 7 years old IME etc. - without ANY issue whatsoever). : /
u know, they are all 10+ years old when u buy them. WMO's arent immortal, anyways that happend to 2 of 4 wmo's i had. Other 2 are working still with no issues. And i dont care tbh, they are cheap af, i can afford buying new one every year or so :)
I found one of these on eBay a while back. It came in pretty bad shape, but I have never come across one of these since. Blue shell, white side and base (slight yellowing), with a grey scroll wheel and USB cable. The USB cable is thicker than the original cables found on WMO and IntelliMouse.
