Good matchmaking, when your opponent's ELO +-100.
If your ELO 800, your opponents should be 700-900
If your ELO 1200, your opponents should be 1100-1300
If your ELO 1800, your opponents should be 1700-1900

In new patch your opponets will be +-400.
If your ELO 800, your opponents will be 400-1200
If your ELO 1200, your opponents will be 800-1600
If your ELO 1800, your opponents will be 1400-2200

A) +-100 opponents
B) +-400 opponents
C) +-250 opponents

You rather wait 20 minutes for a ranked 2v2 TDM? or 8 minutes to play a 4v4 TDM with 6 bots in it...

I do not know why iD Software does not hire you to work on the development of this game. They are just wasting time letting this brilliant feedback professional like yours.

Im not sure its a bad thing. It might be a good thing, actually. Obviously the player size is factored in, so it will reduce search times, like the Hugarian said.

But it might be a good thing for new players to get comparibly easier and harder opponents rather than just equal ones all the time. Easier opponents will bring them the joy of fragging, and harder opponents will bring them down.

2-if you found opponent, you can play with him set of maps without searching again

So apparently they got rid of bots, but did they really? Quake champions is the only game where i seriously struggle sometimes to understand if the opponents are even real people.

People standing still in open space, as scalebearer, looking around like turrents and as soon as they see an enemy, walking toward them.

Players are so aggressive i can't believe they're not bots. They never stop chasing since the moment they see you, no matter how many rockets you give them around corners, no matter the amount of life they have, no matter their location disadvantage.

You can melt a specific player midair with lg after he took a pad 10 times, and at the end of the game, he'll still take that pad to reach you and be melted midair.

I've never seen anything like that in any videogame server. People completely, totally, 100% brainless. Just lock and chase, lock and chase, lock and chase.

People casually strolling near power ups without strafing 10 cm to the side to pick them up, like they're just decorations, over and over and over.

Quake 3 bots had more complex and less predictable behaviour, it's insane.

I wouldnt put it past id to say they are removing bots and then just give all bots a ping of 55 and change their nicks

Introduce server browser but keep the matchmaking ? Then let users decide for themselves what to use.
