Q3 needs much less pc power (I bet most smartphones have enough power to run it at 125fps) althought same graphics like ql

I still think q4 > ql > qc. Q4 had its engine flaws but the concept was fine. The best engine cant save a game when the whole concept sucks (qc).

We just need more servers, more players, better graphics, ragdoll physics for the corpses, let people mod and add maps like the old days. We need rich people to invest in it to advertise it. We need to make it know to be the "elite game" which the pleb don't even attempt to play but are interested in seeing who wins.

I liked it. I like having to pay a monthly premium for quakelive back in the day. Instead of now buy it once and own it forever. It just feels cheap. Subscription was like you pay money and you play it for a month and when the subscription ends and you stop playing and then when you want to come back you just play another 10-20 bucks for it. ez pz mother fucking squeezy. I enjoyed that. I enjoyed being able to created a server without worrying about installing extra apps and shit. Man, I ran a server for a year and people frequented it. People who played CA came to my server. That was fun as fuck to be honest. That was pre-troll slendie era when i actually enjoyed playing the game.

Also, another way to fix quakelive is not having too much wimpy looking people stream quakelive on twitch. I mean, go on twitch and you see bunch of wiimpy looking kids playing the game and that's just a bad selling point.

We just need people playing subscription or not.. and generally subscriptions are not liked. There would be even less people playing now if you had to pay monthly.

Can, yes. Will? Why would they ever do that? Quake multiplayer is not profitable. Even noobifying it down, it stay too harsh complex and unrewarding for players used to today gameplays.

Like others have said, the best outcome for us quakers today would be modding quake champions to make all champions having visor's physics and q3 base stack.

Forcing enemies to all have the same fullbright model and hitbox. Removing all abilities.

Leaving the character customization if one really feels the need to wear an egg as a hat or gay emo outfits, since in game the opponent would only see a standardized fullbright skin (let's say of keel).
