Finally fixed it. I won't tell you how long it took me and the sheer amount of useless shit I did before from my following other peoples advise before I lucked out with brute force, but basically.

Right click network card, under ipv4, use google DNS.

Check obtain an ip address naturally
check use the following dns settings.
preferred DNS= 8.8.8.8
alt dns= 8.8.4.4

Ipconfig /release
Ipconfig /flushdns
Ipconfig /renew

I'm pretty sure the google DNS did it. You should probably use that anyway, browsing is generally a lot faster.

Also Restart your modem after doing that

Cloudfare is a better dns
