Yea its just the nvidia inspector tool tweak that comes up if you google qc picmip
I was using it back on bethesda launcher over a year ago and then suddenly oneday it stopped working idk why.
Later when I installed on steam it just started working again, I almost thought I had some texture bug until I remebered what i had done.
Its just as the guide says except depending what nvidia driver you use the numbers to change have different limits. Im using nvidia 381.65 for this picture.
you'd think it would smooth things out at least.
I'm pretty sure at this point the "id tech" they used is just QL.
heavy on the cpu... by design since it was a browser game meant to be played on any pc.
they built a shitty dx11 renderer... and fucking hell!
Absolutely none fps boost i think. To my understanding the texture is still there in RAM and is still processed, its just blurred right down afterwards so there is no performance difference.
I did not actully check fps before vs after plus you would need to go stand in same part of same map to check roughly which i never did.
The only real benefit is the single color textures everywhere and also the textures of effects is much toned down. For example slash trail becomes much more transparent almost hard to see at some times - so you might argue that it does reduce visual clutter.
But tbh I never did much comparison I just turned it on and left it on.
I doubt they ban anybody who actually use cheats. I read somewhere a cheater was reported and banned but he wrote them he didnt cheat and got a full champion pack as an apology.
I think bethesda cant afford to loose players regardless of cheating or not.
