Other than that I guess it's a solid mouse. 3360 sensor is boss. Weight-wise S2 should be ok if they are similar to FK2 with low center of gravity.

Got the 1st version of FK1 for couple of years now. And I'm really happy with it. Too bad that Zowie became a lot worse company since they were acquired by BenQ :(

To be fair, the hate is justified. They pretty much took their last products, haven't changed anything besides updating the sensor and doubled the price.

While the mouse might be decent, it's grossly overpriced.

Every big mouse company is upping their prices nowadays. Logitech's 3366 models were all around 70€ at the release, G Pro Wireless was introduced for 150€.

The initial price is high with lots of things, let's wait for it to drop -20 then it's not so bad :)

Yep the market has gone crazy. Long gone are the days where a "premium" mouse is $49.

Logitech Mx-510 I bought early 2000's for 45 euro came with 5 year warranty, impeccable support and warranty policies and was built like an AAA product that wouldn't break down no matter what. The sensor is still great and 800dpi is more than enough for most gamers.

They don't do stuff like that nowadays, your arguments are accurate.

Also gone are the days peripherals are made within Europe. For instance Logitech moved their production away from switserland to poland and finally to China and it's very noticable in their quality and product control. They also break down really quick, cheap materials. Milage always varies compared to before and it's one of the reasons Logitech support has a hard time at the moment with managing their tickets, sometimes having to wait 5 weeks before reply etc. But people still keep playing premium prices for non-premium products so why would they quit? They can just keep inflating the price, covering almost half of their products getting RMA'd and nobody bats an eye.

They don't even care, thats how much of a baller status they have with the current-day consument. I once had a faulty G403 and made a support ticket, waited for a month. So they after 2-3 months finally sent a replacement product which was the Wireless G403 and I had the wired one. So back I went to support, took them another 2-3 weeks to reply and then they asked me to destroy the mouse and make pictures of it before they would send a new wired one. Can you imagine? And this was the 2nd G403 that had issues for me and it's not the first Logi product that needs to RMA.

But yeah, good thing is they are prepared to send you a new product in the end, even if it's inefficient, rude and unprofessional how they handle stuff like this.

Bet Zowie ain't a hair better in this regard either since I heard lot of people complain about bad qc and out-of-box faulty mice. Pathetic really for a 70eu product.

If something works like the FK range. Why would they wanna go and break it? Putting a new sensor and upping the price is justified. Considering everything else is getting more expensive. Petrol, cars, houses.

They're taking twice the margin for what is essentially the same product. I doubt very much the 3360 sensor (which has been used by many other manufacturers with a 50 or lower price tag too) cost more than the 3310 at its time.

There is no justification for this price increase. They're trying to bank on people naive enough for this to work.

List price for all divina mice is 75€, the same price as for EC-2B. List price for FK and EC2-A is 65€.

That 10€ more is a price increase of 15,4%, not 50%.

Wait until there is a sale as with every product and it will sell at around 50-55€ as well, it has always been this way.

Unless a product is extremely wanted and the producer cannot satisfy the demand for some reason, as is the case with the new Finalmouse ultralight and air58 lines. Check those out! That's a real reason to get angry about. They are sold from 120€ up to 250€ at ebay or amazon at the moment. My guess is finalmouse is intentionally creating a shortage in production to increase value and up the price.

You're right that it doens't justify the price increase but an elite aimer like you would agree that the 3366 is superior over 3310 and worth swapping if it were to be a guy that would be as competitive like yourself.

Is there any good 3-buttons mouse on the market?

I'm using my ZA13 because I got it for free, but it's no WMO/g100s/Abyssus. Too tall, and I've never got used to having side buttons in any mouse.

There is no mouse on the western market that can satisfy me and be a suitable replacement to my g100s/g303 mod but I admittedly became very picky in regards to shape/weight after using the mod for so long.

So i'm looking at the Korean market (see my other on the other thread here: http://www.esreality.com/post/2928743/re-ninox-astrum/#pid2929721 ) and waiting to receive them.

Otherwise I'll just work on doing another g100s mod myself. The mod is starting to feel a bit old after 3 and half years of use and I can feel the buttons being superior on the GPW for example.

Things typically become more expensive because people are more willing or able to pay, or because of a reduction in supply.

In the case of gaming gear, it's really just that people are more willing to pay than before, as a result of gaming and esports becoming more popular.

So if enough people are less willing to pay, then price should come down. Maybe enough comments like winz' on the internet might help to create that lack of willingness.

Knocks a good few grams out without having to chop anything off of the mouse.

Some current-day mice are squeaky as hell out of the box and they already 'give' when you grip them hard. I'm sure it would result in catastrophe drilling holes in such mice.
