This is the very first game I bought on release day for 60$ in my life ;)
There is only one REALLY bad thing and that is menus.
Fucking weebs won't let you bind controlls used in menus... And they are different from the buttons you use to play the game.
Gotta press TAB (!!!!!!) to get menu you would expect under escape.
Insane how japs are detached from PC gaming.
But I guess it's fighting games in general.

Playing is a lot of fun (+some rage after getting raped).
Basics are pretty simple.
There are low tier shitters to get matched against.
Just watchout for hot waifus...

I returned mine on day one for a refund, might pick this up for 6 quid seeing as its probably more complete and my finger's jacked from golf and fps, so fighting games is one of the few I could play, but for me SF grew so daunting, they just rammed it full of so many characters (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXbjpoNgKFg) I struggled to keep up with all the little counter moves and animations as I could not, and did not want to dedicate that much time but at high level SF, you could be hit by one opener and you're looking at 30%-40%, it would really pain me to play this series without being able to maintain a high win rate. Mind you there are half the chars in this version, so probably not so bad.

I just have no will to play it. In fact, I was looking for ways on how to play streets of rage 2 with my old school friend online.

That to me would be more fun.

4 is a better game, but a lot less active. You'll still find plenty matches though, just not a thriving community. V is worth getting, decent game.
