You guys are always playing it.

Well, its the most fun map to play, it has perfect balance between open space / closeness, it is extremely fast, and allows for variety of fights and cool moves. Like you could fly around the whole map in 2-3 seconds.

If I remember it properly it has 12 spawn points on which you would be sitting dead for 10 mns if you played Sanchez.

Wish someone would make more maps like monsoon.

Its a bit like awoken in qc. Fast paced map with circular shape.

Think 90% of duels in q4 are played on monsoon, 10% on placebo effect, and 1% on all other maps together.

The third ranked duel map I would put this one.



I think it was created by point - quake 4 player, and it was well designed as you can see you can strafe fast across the map, without hitting walls.

When they originally ported / created maps poorly designed like galang (that shit map even had tourneys played on it), there was no room for strafing / crouchsliding.

Some shit maps come from q3 without proper adaptation to q4 physics / mechanics, like phrantic, there is no space (ground) for rocket fights and the map is too thin / tiny for strafing, it also has no rail and no megahealth. Like on phrantic there is much less use in aiming and much more need to just spam small corridors with rockets. The red armor place is poorly designed which makes picking it even not worth due to narrow exits.

Godly aura influences everything, including yourself, but you are not able to realize it, because you are just an npc inside the matrix without any freewil.

They're both legit. I'd say wind has slightly better rail while sanchez hits more lg. Sanchez might be in better shape atm since he's playing every day and posting videos, tho wind has won many online and lan tournaments and has more experience. It would be interesting to see who's better atm if they played a showmatch.

Serious and base are both noobs / low - medium skill players, I cannot play seriously vs someone I don't respect. Serious has lost 2 duels to strngst today on stream so why would I even have to play a loser? He already fucking lost.

+ QC is a trash game with lots of input lag and fps drops, no 3d sound engine and broken hitbox / hitscan.

If someone wants to play me any real they will have to come to q4.

I would play vs someone like genj1 or stronger than him.
If you are weaker than genj1 you could practice with some of my students in q4.
Playing noobs only increases my boredoom and decreases motivation to play any good.
I could also teach q4 duels to a player of high skill if he never played it.

Anyways duels in q4 are fun, fast paced and skill based, unlike duels in QC where on 2000+ elo guys have 10% rail accuracy and 20% lg.

Q4 duels have literally infinite skill slope. Even when I was raping pros 50-0 I felt that I could play 100 times better than this. Its just that I never had a strong enough sparring partner (Cooller would not be even good for any warmup in q4).

P.s. base is a much weaker player than iudas

To be honest i dont care who beats who, I am watching an actual skill level of players, it is Drk caring alot about beating afk players with big name.

I can actually see the real skill / ability of anyone playing quake. Thats why I can easily tell a cheater - a guy who cannot move mouse, from a pro - someone with expert type of movement.

Nobody ever won iudas 50-0, not toxjq, not fojji, not cooller.

What I am interested in, and what nobody of you will ever understand is to raise that skill level even further.

First of all let me tell you, and i hope you can comprehend. You are in QC a very average player. If you would play duel you would be Diamond 1 or max 3 on your best days. But you won't rank in duel or in any other ranked match. You got carried only by Genj1 and his cheats. You are not anywhere near a semi-/professional player. Base, Tox, Serious they are in a completely different league. Stop thinking that you are at that level.

Second, Genj1 is also an average player, i admit he's better than you. And he is very good when he enables triggerbot/wallhack. I played him a few times and when he played without any cheats he's like Diamond 5/Elite (SR 2200/2300 MAX). But when he uses cheats (his triggerbot) he's in the top 50. But only due to his Rail/LG in combination with his cheats. He's like you a crazy person, claiming he's an OW pro and:
1. Does not tell anyone his OW pro nickname (why would he)
2. Does not show his POV ever.
3. Plays together with the most psychopathic player who is a known cheater and a complete narcissistic person who calls himself without joking a 'god'.

I have played with people from 2400 to 3000 elo and most of them were trashed, there are some decent players ofcourse. I dont really judge people for their gaming ability, i judge for their mentality.

Vengeur crying on his stream was like literally pissing me off, why would this trash even call himself pro. Some stupid italian kid. He can go win some tourneys, and will always remain a trash in my eyes.

Riperruts on other hand played to the end even with unfair teams.
