I didn't start Quake with Quake Live when it came on steam in 2015, I started to play Quake back in 1999-2000, when my uncle introduced me to Quake 3 Arena, and I even played in some LANs with him. Fun times.

As for ESR, it's true that I wasn't registered before 2016, but I did visit the site and followed the tournaments way before that.

Since I'm registered, I try to contribute when I can. And it's true that I usually see things in a positive light. But I genuinely do enjoy following these tournaments. What can I say ^^

Yes, I see the enjoyment I take from following these tournaments, albeit not everything is perfect, in a positive light.

If Quake Champions didn't exist and all the esport we had was Fortnite, League of Legends, etc... I would be sad.

I'm really glad that we had tons of oldschoolers take part in tournaments in the last couple years : Rapha, Cooller, K1llsen, Vo0, DaHang, Cypher, Noctis, Tox, Agent, Base, Av3k, etc... and I'm glad that we saw some new (or relatively new) players with a very good level : Clawz, Raisy, Vengeur, etc...

Of course I would prefer if we had a "perfect game" with a "perfect organization" and that we lived in a "perfect world" with no wars and no disease. That would be cool. But until we have that, I enjoy what I can.
