Yeah, everybody should just be honest about it and hold the 'Chemical Olympics' in which teams of doctors would compete alongside the athletes in who can boost their team better. Additional medals could be rewarded in categories like 'Best roid rage', 'Most dramatic side effect', etc... the possibilities are endless!

Additionally, we already know Id/Bethesda policy regarding people caught using hacks like Base and Serious, they're very welcome to take part in any tournament they please and have to be considered clean at any moment in spite of them literally tracking trough walls and their aims looking mechanical as fuck. Even cheat developers like ZeroQL are welcome to compete. It doesn't get worse than that.

I think "doping" via various substances would be just as effective - NOT. I've taken stimulants from caffeine to ephedrine, which is chemically close to methamphetamine. They just make me nervous and twitchy as fuck. I've never even tried playing on them. They'd most likely completely ruin your composure, which is what you need first and foremost in Quake 1on1.
