Ceramic being harder would probably never wear down, the pad will be taking the wear.

personal preferance, tox uses icemat which has no friction and aims like a monster.

Have been using steelseries I-2, which is the same pad, for about 10 years. Not a single scratch on it, flawless tracking.

Teflon feet wear is much less than it's said to be, though it does go away faster compared to cloth pads.

On the topic: ceramic feet would probably not be the go-to way, since even with the tempered glass standing up to the harder material fine, the friction may be too low to be comfortable.

That teflon on cloth don't wear down ? I can notice difference in 2 weeks and same thing i read on reddit. I was supreme master class in cs go and top 1 masters in sc 2. Pros get like hundreds of mousepads from sponsors. Teflon has only 250km lifetime. I even measured it and after an hour and i already glided 1km. Also if your hand sweat even one time, on bottom of teflon skates, spots are creates, which cause friction. I was mad because i was high ranked in these games and i couldn't play because of friction.

I probably try them, because they have less difference between static and dynamic friction and buy icemat, because this shit is so inferior. I don't touch mouse with dirty hands and cover it at night to reduce dust cover and clean it with microfiber cloth, don't use water, it destroy it, but it doesn't help. 3 months in winter it was okay and than one time hand sweat in summer and it is unuseable...
