its only as bad as the audience, literally no one wants to play a normal game anymore, if you want to play hardcore fps csgo is probably the only game left, even then it has still useless cases and skins, which are fine by me, but i dont think they add anything to the game. as for quake champs, i am willing to try it as long as it has linux port and some kind of low graphics mode that adds 666fps to the game, or better yet port it to ezquake engine, and reduce game size to 1gb, or another option is to remove all unnecessary stuff from the game except for core gameplay mechanics and add back dlc one by one depending if it is actually needed or good, always go back to the basics when shit goes south, that way you dont need to update 60 gb of garbage files each new update. people might simply need minecraft graphics with dlc of golden axe or smth, no need to waste time on lavish graphics details if games has only 1000 players.

Delusional fuck, qc has a mouse input of a browser game, does not run on 70% playerbase computers, made an unbalanced champions, where you just spawn with full stack, and no anticheat.
