12:46] heartlesss: @Raven first of all, gotta say, diabotical is very very good, on many aspects, won't list them cuz too much and too lazy :D. Arena 1v1 is also very enjoyable and feels kind of fresh compared to thunderstruck you know :D, and ofc more "balanced", like less +b or hide etc. Now i have one little complain tho, it's about the current weap balance. The rail is fine, i love the 60/70/80, good concept. The rl is fine too, it feels strong and you can make plenty of agressive moves with it. The plasma has been nerfed and is now perfectly balanced. The gl feels nice, the machinegun feels strong enough (perhaps a little too strong tho). My biggest issue right now is the lg, what i'm about to say isn't because lg has always been my fav weap and i'm a shaft whore, oka ? What am about to say is ONLY in order to make the weap balance perfectly balanced and rewarding any kind of playstyles (rl-heavy, rail-heavy, lg-heavy etc), because currently i'd say the game slightly favors rl-heavy players, for instance, if you put the best rl player ever against the best lg player ever (not me btw ;D), the rl dude will win, not by much, but still, i'd say 60% win for the rl dude and 40% for the lg dude (or to be less extreme 55% vs 45%). The reasons why the rl will almost always be the most viable weap are : dash + a bit faster movements with less "floaty" feelings and more to the ground strafe-jumping (compared to ql) + less rl bounces + how the maps are designed (usually not very open, i'm talking about arena and duel, not wipeout) AND, finally, the lg. What's wrong with current lg ? not the no knockback on ground, which is actually a very good idea, the real issue is that there's hardly any ways to counter a beast with rl that usually play agressive, because if he goes +f and never jumps while using rl, considering the overall size of most arena maps, and since the lg is basically nerfed since QL (but not the rl (afaik)), it's almost impossible to get a kill even if 50% acc lg
