I love everything about this game except the control, which feels weird somehow, like unreal engine games.
The childgame already feels a lot better control wise, even now when it's in its infancy.
It does not matter when playing, but I really like Reflex's graphics and the style too. The lack of textures will make it timeless and will work "forever" in any resolutions... wish it would have some RTX eye candy, probably it wouldn't be too hard to implement since it's already incorporates GameWorks.
I need to seriously improve my quake live game. I know, the game is dead but I still want to be the best in the game. I've been watching k1llsen vods and analyzing everything. Positional understanding, mouse positioning, weapon choices, meta game of his opponents. everything. I treat the game like chess.. I have no motivation to learn any other game. sup?
This seems to be the age old problem. If it was everything quakers would want, why aren't a bunch of them playing it right now? Hopefully this changes with child game, but I think the best we can hope for is the QL and QC populations move and stay with it, and maybe fool some Fortnite kiddies into at least trying it along the way.
RTS is also one foot in the grave, sad state of affairs.
same as peeps who say 'no reason to stay in a dying game', they're both right, and wrong. they kill the game and yet they save their valuable time by realizing its a waste of time in the first play to play the dying game. then its dead and there's even more reason not to play it :)
its not an actual person that needs to be saved, its imaginary on a computer. we'll live lol.
