I didn't have to do that so you shouldn't have to either

2factor can just be email verification you dont need to use mobile phone.

I think it was planned that you would need 2factor to claim free games going forward (starting with GTA5) but for some reason it hasnt become a requirement yet.

Maybe when they crashed the other day they decided everybody trying to implement 2factor would double their server load which was already currently crippled with the release of GTA5

u have to ignore the multiplayer part and just play the storymode

multiplayer is pretty epic, if you are in a 4 player party. speaking of the heist missions and all the 4-player missions.

but you need to be 4 players, otherwise its completely unplayable.

Multiplayer is epic if you know the workarounds to their bugs (infi ite loading screen etc) and you need to know how to get a public solo lobby or other players may grief you.
Multiplayer got over the top with introducing the flying bikes...

99% on ESR only have a PC that barely can handle QL with 120fps.
that makes less than 20fps on gta5.

Epic's launcher is malware. I discovered its true purpose before it became EGS (I wanted to play the new UT back in 2015). Stay away from this garbage

Rockstar endorses cheating in this game. 99% of lobbys you get teleported to the center of the map and exploded.
