This is incredibly sad news. Oleg & Own3d enabled so many of our early leveluptv streams. From ClanBase to ESL IEM, DreamHack, ESWC & more. I can't remember when we last spoke, but I'm forever grateful for his time & investment into Quake & Esports. My condolences to his family/friends.

We had a good friendship online in the days of Clanbase, and got to know him irl @ESWC.

i remember idling with him on some server back in OSP days. i was a beginner, 2 years in or so and he was the best in germany mentoring k1llsen, he created a worldchamp of quake. hes a cool guy, very friendly and funny. . that and all the stuff you praise him for. surely missed.

Really sad news. I remember playing eoe, and d1ablo in EF back in the days alongside hx, n!faculty, pod, HFD, etc etc (the german teams back then were VERY good).
