Can't even begin to imagine how you stop a full force Tyson up in your face, even if you kept your hands up and close to your sides he'd still be fucking you up.
Tyson in his prime, even before becoming HW champion when Cus D'Amato was still alive, was unbeatable.
He had the most rigorous conditioning and training regimen of all so his body was a machine. Under Cus's constant supervision he had absolutely perfected the peekaboo dodging style which meant could not be hit hard without risking his counter attacks and he still is a freak of nature with unnatural handspeed and power. Some of that power comes from perfecting technique, but I think it is also genetics, Tyson was so compact and stronger then the usual grownup already at the age of 16, that's not normal.
Finally his mindset was set to conquer his fears, Cus also had a strong mindset training as in doubt was not allowed, and rigorous preparation, tyson knew every important fight of the past, he analysed his opponents in detail, it was the typical success story as for every athlete, he was obsessed with boxing, it was all he did from I think 13 to 20 or so.
There was a quote of Mike Tyson at one point saying he thought he could beat every human on the planet, of the 6 billion at the time, in an unarmed 1on1 fight - I'd have to wholeheartedly agree.
