yeah, lots of people probably would but the game still sucks ass.

"The game" isn't a thing. Too many people point and laugh, but what actually happened is that Epic was working on the next UT title, but were too busy with Fortnite/the Unreal engine/the store, so they literally scrapped it and abandoned it halfway.

But UT fans harassed them non stop to release the barely functioning pre-alpha of the game, even if it was broken, with missing textures etc.

Epic didn't want to, but they insisted so much they eventually gave in and gave them the bare bone version of the game if they really wanted to try to finish/play it anyway.

And immediately after that, the usual Epic haters started pointing fingers at the game, saying retarded things like "loool it doesn't even have textures looool that's the best they could do? It suuuuuucks!"

It was a simple gift to the community. What they should have done is say "fuck off get off my dick" and straight cancel the files or kept them private.

Which has proved to be the right answer to gaymers communities countless times. CDPR should have said "fuck off the game comes out when it's ready" etc etc etc.

Gaymers are children, no matter their biological age. They'll pester you over the lamest things over and over unless you clearly and definitely ignore them or shut them up.

Whenever you cave in it's game over, they'll step all over you and laugh at you for your weakness.

Multiple people post screenshots about some measily insults that would be straight funny trash talking in any sports, and all the whiny trans kiddies join in a circle jerk of "oooh how mean :.(((...oh no, soo SORRY for what you must have endured!...dont leave!"

I wrote some posts about reports/bans being a slippery slope, the dangers of implementing such stuff, just general observations. within 20 minutes I racked up 30 downvotes for stating the obvious (before you ask me why I care - if you have too much downvotes you cannot post in most reddit forums anymore! you literally lose the right to post. OR, not much better, your posts will be auto soft-muted by not showing them anymore).

I'm done with reddit. It is exactly as I expected, a pure echo chamber giving all the wrong people a false sense of power but a real possibility to mute unconvenient opinions. So weak and sad.

Also, isn't it mindboggling how western civilization criticises china for the exact thing that reddit/facebook/youtub/twitter is implementing on its own, apparently by popular demand? A big censoring machine that only allows conformity to the groupthink consens.

The same people that work tirelessly to censor everything and everyone they subjectively deem immoral are not able to realize they just switched sides from the former (offline) bullied, to the (now online) bullies. They will wake up when it's too late, that the machine they created will only listen to the smallest common denominator. It will not stop when their personal lines are crossed, because a new generation of people will be even more offended then the last and so on.

I asked if I know you because of the "typical", as if you knew me or something.

I meant that these phrases/accusations are typical of ppl who fucked up but don't want to admit it or apologize. Deleting your own posts is another typical behaviour in such cases. Why would you delete your own posts unless they were somehow embarassing to you? I don't remember ever deleting my posts for other reason than correcting a mistake.

I disagree to your first point, not specifically related to my reddit posts but in general. That's a very predjudiced opinion, you have to look at every such case individually.

I said already, it's because I don't want to lose the ability to post. so I deleted my posts that were not appreciated because else more downvotes were inevitable. There is also another thing with down/upvotes, once a post racked up a certain amount, people are more likely to vote the same. It's stupid, but real.
