Also probably possible to make a custom kernel module specifically for wmo, see this project:
https://github.com/HannesMann/gcadapter-oc-kmod
I imagine you just have to change these values in the main source file there:
#define GCADAPTER_VID 0x057e
#define GCADAPTER_PID 0x0337
To the VID and PID of the wmo. Then compile and use your distro's built-in tools for loading the module each boot.
