Metroid Prime 4, might become a good game, I think they cut ties with the 1st company producing the game, I definitely liked the 1st prime, but they have to make something really a bit different this time ... and I am not sure this is going to release in 2021

Honestly I'd kill for it to be just like the first game or even the second but just updated. (Metroid Prime)

I'd say give RE a chance, there's a lot of good quality games but each to his own.

Zelda doesn't have any level up elements nor does BioMutant I believe. Most Zelda games are incredibly fun and interesting with great stories, well worth playing.

Never touched Rome Total War but I was always meaning to play it so if the remastered edition reviews well I may just pick it up when it goes on sale at some stage.

Played Zelda Ocarina of Time and also 1-2 hours Breadth of the Wild ... Ocarina of Time even was for a long time called best game of all time, you could find basically in every top list on the no. 1 spot ... I played this game the 1st half until Link became grown up, but then stopped ... and now this game has basically vanished from the top lists ... While super metroid that has always been top 3 contender, and now is still ranging in the top 3 ...

and about RE I can basically tell everything from gameplay videos, it might have been famous in ps1 era and took a bit of that fame into ps2, but since then noone really cares anymore about RE

Everything From releases nowadays has been top tier.

He isn't wrong though, it's not the same. It's like movies vs series - you may watch a season-worth of movies instead of binge-watching a tv series, but realistically you won't. You will watch a movie, and feel like doing something else. If a movie was good, it will be on your mind for some time and give you something for longer than just the time you spent watching it.

I've played an rpg recently (witcher 3), first time since high school I think. Never again want to dump so many hours into a single game. And there isn't much quality content anyway. You just remember the best parts rather than countless time-fillers.

These RPG games are the most part dumbed down games ...
they all have their trailers with nice landscapes, etc., but in the end when you play the game you do not even stop to enjoy these landsapes, and if you actually would stop you would not enjoy them ... and there is also supposedly some story ... but in the end you just complete low iq quests where you slay number of animals or level up stupidly to beat some boss to "continue" in the story ... and stories in game are only meant to support the game, its not really the center of a game, if you play a game only to "continue" the "story" something went wrong

5 is fun/good if you just don't pay attention to the plot.

It's one of the best co-op games ever tbh, so much fun and action.

There might be something in 2021 that just released on Steam:

just more mtg arena and chess tbh. It'd be fun to fool around with Go a bit, might go back to subnautica or rimworld a tiny bit, but don't think I'll play anything a tenth as much as the first two.

MTG similar to hearthstone a good game, except for the fact its paytowin ...
coming from chess where you can analyze games and see where you go right/wrong ...
its hart to change to win percentage thinking and knowing games are lost from the start ... and then the pay2win stuff adding onto that ... that is why I am not really playing much, because I know when it gets competetive you will have to pay 100s of $ just to be able to play some top tier decks (of course not all, for all u need to pay 1000s of $) ... kinda sad there is no other model with cosmetics or something for these card cames

yeah they´re super fun. Mtga is so much fun I don´t even have to pay, I basically get the decks I want for free and I'm able to compete in Arena events if I wanted :) The getting good part is what I don't have time for though haha

Hmm, MTGA free top decks? I have read a little about it, common consensus is that you need to invest several 100s of $ per expansion if you want to be competive. You seem to be another religious fanboy who spend large sums into the game and insincerly tells others that it is a great f2p game where you can compete as f2p. Seen enough of that already in Hearthstone.

I've not spent a cent on the game. You can grind out full sets if you play every day and do the 4 daily wins and all the quests, especially if you do rare drafting and don't open the nondraft packs until you've done a lot of drafting..

I don't grind out complete sets, but I grind out a lot of them. I also won't get all the decks, only the ones I want. The one downside for "competitive" players here would be that this takes a while, especially the drafting route (which I don't do), so I guess you wouldn't be ready for the tournaments in some of those cases. But by the end of the set, you can have collected all the cards for free.

This is all proven and plenty of people do it.



That's just arena however, and someone who wants to be competitive will do it in paper and mtgo as well. Mtgo might have gotten cheaper by now due to arena, idk, but paper is absolutely bonkers expensive. And don't get me started on how lazy WotC are with minmaxing with only building arena long after Hearthstone was there, with how greedy they are with the professional scene, etc.

As you can see I'm very critical of WotC for their greed, in some cases for Arena (like still no permanent Historic Brawl queue)--that is the specific reason I don't spend any money on it.

The game is super good though, so... That's the reason I play it and that's all I'm saying.

I dont have a problem with paying, they could even have a monthly fee of 10 €, because that monthly is nothing compared what you need to invest per year to stay competetive ... this card game payment models are just a shameless ripoff and really really hope a new comes along with much much less pay2win shit

You're a pretty weird person. I say I play the game daily, I describe my way of playing, I explain what I need or don't for what kind of use. And you continue insisting you're right and describing your narrative that includes things I obviously don't do as somehow superior and more correct to my description of facts. Even in the post before you were willing to just guess what I am like.

I don't know what you were looking at this conversation, but it certainly appears like you came in with your conclusions and aren't willing to change them. Maybe tell your narrative to someone who doesn't play the game next time, they at least won't know you're lying.

Early mid 90s as a kid, I played tournaments with stock decks in MTG. It's not specifically pay 2 win in the online model.

I played MTG once in school as real card game, but not competetive, it is a nice game, but pretty costly ...
it is a good game, problem is it just pay to win, they could also release every expansion for 30 € with all cards in it, would also work ... anyway I find it funny pokemon card game is now all the rage and replaced mtg on playgrounds ... probably after pokemon some teletubbiy game will replace everything with diversity bonus cards

drone racing? if that would be fun there would be popular games for that on pc already, just like the thousands of car racing games ...
anyway metroid dread might become good and will be released for switch, guess this is the only game I am buying this year

It's far from a casual moba game. One of the best strategy games ever made and such a simple yet unique one with quite a bit of depth.

I'd say, give the original and advance wars 2 games a try on mgba emulator, they still easily hold up today and are fun as hell.

drones are expensive especially when you slam into a house and have to buy spare parts.
