I think your prices are unrealistic.
Plus, it ain't easy to sell used mice and pads during a pandemic when everybody cares about hygiene.

As I was making my own glaspad I bought an used Steelseries I-2 for 5€ on ebay-"Kleinanzeigen" for comparison.
It only had 3 tiny scratches which didn't even affect the glide, but still after I had done my reasearch on reverse engineering it, I gave it away for free on the same website, because it was too small for me.
That is why I think your prices are too high, why should anybody buy an used Icemat for 135$ (incorrect at the blue one) from you, when they can rather buy a new Skypad, which is unused, bigger and with 66€ even much cheaper:

Or have it even cheaper and bigger like me, when they make it from a custom piece of acid-etched/sandblasted glas.

Still it is fascinating how much equipment you are hoarding.

A bit of a passive aggressive response but here we go.

If you work out the cost to get these which was 2 mice + postage to Germany and back to me + cost of labour for my friend to do them, I think they're a steal. I'm actually selling at a loss. These weren't simple to do and I've had some interesting offers but unfortunately most felt through in the end so far - it is a lot of money no denying it, but these shapes were my own personal god teir. The modded micos are absolute gems specifically. Not sure about nowadays been a long time I've been into games, so no idea what's available as far as shapes. Need to find the right buyer for these but will drop prices progressively until they sell.

Interesting about the skypad, looks like a great pad. I also have a custom made glass mouspad which I had sandblasted. I think I spoke to you about it once a while ago on here. The icemat going rate on ebay.com going by completed listings is way higher than what mine are. I think when I got mine I paid about £70-80. I-2 I paid more like £110, can't remember to be exact. May adjust in light of that though.

If you think this hoarding is bad you haven't seen the rest of the stuff I have. There's probably about another 60 mice and 40 mousepads haha, I was insane about this stuff :D

There is a massive misunderstanding, I only was talking about the mice in the 2nd sentence in a general manner, I know that Frankensteining a mouse more than doubles the cost.
I was mostly referring to the pad prices and I think I have found the origin:

In Germany the I-2 had a MSRP of 40€ and a general rule of thumb for used 2nd hand stuff is to demand only half of the original price.

Yeah, I remember the conversation, btw, seems Skypad are using UV-printing without any reflective particles for their glas/backside.

Acceptance is the first step of the cure.
