I immensely enjoyed following this tournament, thanks for everyone involved, really made my month. There really isn't any other sport or e-sport that quite capture the amount of fun, skill and excitement that Quake can bring during 3 long days of fragging.

Can't wait for the next one, and may Quake never die !

Yeah while it is pretty fun to watch and there is really no other e-sport capturing that same feeling like Quake does it is really a shame that when you want to play it yourself you still have to go through the cluncky / shit experience that Champions is.

So while watching / downtime in the tournament I said to myself let's give Champions another shot after like a few years of not playing.. and then after 5 games you already understand nothing changed.

Still the same shit menu's / long startup time / in like 5 games 4 times you can only vote for the most shit maps which are absolutly not suitable for the mode you are in (I'm talking about TDM or CTF)

Why is there on startup some kind of 'region selection' screen which you can't use?

Why can you still play vs full teams of sorlags? I mean I don't really mind but it is just simply boring to play vs buggy animated characters..

Don't get me started on the soundsystem? I hear so many strange sound effects but none can be pointed in any direction.. it is totaly random or what?

Why do you still get put in teams where for every kill you make a teammate will die 20 times while not scoring anything? Even netto kill / death ratios of +30 isn't winning you TDM's these days?
